About The Owner
Brittany believes that there is no limit to greatness and the opportunities we can attract once we genuinely believe we are worthy of the best. One of Brittany’s mottos is life’s experience is truly our greatest teacher.
Brittany is a Kingstree, South Carolina native who has had an innate passion for people, adventure, and positive energy since early childhood. A proud graduate of South Carolina State University, where she received her B.S. in Computer Science. Brittany has always been enthusiastic about STEM, and through B Burgess Consulting, LLC., she has reignited her passion for creative writing merged with encouragement and empowerment.
Motivated by an ever-changing job market, Brittany reassessed her impact on her career field and community, which promoted the launch of B. Burgess Consulting, LLC.
Now a mid-career experienced professional, she is committed and trained to provide the necessary guidance required to take action in your academia or professional life. Brittany is passionate about pouring life and career skills into her community. She was recognized in 2020 as a South Carolina State University Alumni Entrepreneur and nominated in 2019 for a Contractor of the Year Award. In addition, she enjoys transferring knowledge to students and professionals inside and outside of business. Brittany facilitated a STEM Professional Brownbag for college interns at the U.S. Army’s Chemical Biological Center (CBC). One of Brittany’s favorite speaking engagements was a panel discussion addressing Imposter Syndrome at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s Computer Science Department. From making strategic decisions to understanding your logical next steps, Brittany can guide you through any process.
